Great podcast!
Thanks for talking about KP9 Interactive. I actually was a developer with Metaio who was purchased by Apple in 2015 and was re-tooled/branded to be ARKit. Our platform is Computer Vision (CV) agnostic, running off our own proprietary build that is not part of the ARkit or ARcore ecosystem – ours will instead run over top of them if needed as part of their CV if the need was warranted. The app also has a power Augmented Reality reader build into it to bring promotional materials to life with video. buttons, static images or 3D content…open the app up and aim it at the provided image.
I see this being a tool for fellow photogs to drop pins at locations for others to find where their shot was or dropping AR pins for themselves for that “spot” they stood at for later. A tutorial is being build into the app currently that will get users started off right away. I am sure Greg will keep you up to date with the future of our latest platform that we decided to push out the door in a more unfinished state … our reasoning is that we can shape it organically with feedback from the community.
Thanks again!

Thanks Wil! I look forward to hearing more!
