Great show again guys! As far as Hipstamatic goes, if you spend time and use it regularly you can create favourites from lens and film combos. You can even create or restore a combo from a picture saved in Hipstamatic. There is also an amazing app called Hipstamatch that has five sample pictures shot with each of the Hipstamatic combos and will help you learn the combinations. Spend the time with the app and you will very soon get a usable set of combinations. You can also sort the lenses and films in any order you would like, as well as turn off those lenses and films you do not like.
Thanks! That’s a good tip to know for the Hipstamatic users.
Another good app to try is “Handy Photo”.
I’m downloading it right now. 🙂
Hello guys, and thanks for another great show! Just wanted to mention that there is also another Hipstamatic assistant app out there titled HipStyles. Its sample photos for each combination are unlimited as the app pulls them from Instagram.
You can also search your own photos for shots taken with any combo, and there are some other nice features too.
I am one of the two developers of the app and we came up with idea for it because we were struggling with exactly the same issues discussed on this episode!
Best regards, Kimmo from the HipStyles team in Finland
Thanks for the tip!
