A camera is just a tool. Sometimes the video tool is quite useful in vertical mode, like, analysis of a golf swing, which is largely a vertical or square motion. If you shoot it horizontal, you are left with only half as much information as you would like. So, open your brain to other possibilities for a tool sometimes.
