Last week we had Doc Pop on our show to talk about Postagram. Postagram is a service that will take your photos from your iPhone or your Instagram feed and make a nice little post card out of them.
The service is inexpensive, quick and easy, but the real question is this: What are the prints like?
I tested it. And here are my thoughts.
The short answer is this: I like it. I like it a lot! It’s a pretty basic postcard that contains your message and your photo. The bonus is that you can pop out your square photo.
The print quality is really good. I tested two photos. One is the photo on the right. The second, not shown, is a picture of my daughter. They both printed really well. They both captured the mood that I created on IG, the detail was spot on, etc.
The real test was my wife. If she liked it, then Postagram is a keeper. I gave the postcard to her and she loved it (photo of our daughter). And then she looked over the post card a bit and asked if it was okay for her to pop out the picture so that she can put it in her purse. Ding, ding, ding! Postagram is a keeper.
If you want to give Postagram a try, use this link to get 2 free postcards. All you need to do is sign up for an account.
Anyways, I give Postagram a 4 out of 5 stars. Awesome service!
I ordered a couple of these the other day. I’m having one sent to myself so I can check it out. Can’t wait to see it for myself.
Awesome, Matt! Can’t wait to hear what you think of them.
4 out 5? I give it a 5. This app is super. The quality of the postcard is always great. And it’s easy to use. I used this app a lot when I vacationed in Mexico and my family loved it.
I agree with Salvador! I got a phone call from my grandparents yesterday ecstatic after receiving the Postagram I sent late last week. That alone was worth the more than reasonable price point. When I told him that I sent the thing from my phone while sitting in the mall waiting for my wife to finish shopping he was amazed. Totally easy to use, the quality of the product and the response from the recipients is great!
