Hey everyone. I wanted to make a quick announcement about the show. As of right now, Tiny Shutter is now going to update every other week.

There are a few reasons for this. We have families, day jobs, and very little time. We do the shows because we’re passionate about photography. We have fun with the shows. And we love entertaining you, the audience.

Here’s the thing, we record two shows in one night. At about 9pm we start The Tiny Shutter. After that podcast is finished, we record Casual Photography. In a lot of cases, Matt, Joe and I are so tired that it’s hard to focus on Casual Photography. Or, if there is a lot of prep work that’s needed for Casual Photography, Tiny Shutter suffers.

In a perfect world, we would record one show one night, and the other show on a different night. But that’s not possible right now.

So the new schedule is that we record Tiny Shutter one week, and Casual Photography the following week. Rinse, repeat.

Benefits:

The cool thing is that we will be allowed to have more prep time for each show. In addition, we can go longer with each show. God willing, this will result in a better show.

We hope that you understand. We all love to do the shows, and we love getting feedback from you whether it’s in the form of emails, web posts, Facebook posts or sharing on Instagram. We love it and appreciate it.

We do have some exciting stuff in the works. This little schedule change will help us tremendously and in the long run, it will make for a better show for you.
